Spanish Wine Educator 2026

Doreen Colondres Selected as One of 14 Wine Educators Worldwide for the Spanish Wine Educator Certification.

We are thrilled to share that Doreen Colondres was selected as one of only 14 wine educators from around the world to participate in the prestigious Spanish Wine Educator 2026 Certification Program organized by Foods & Wines from Spain.

Alongside fellow educators from Canada, China, India, Ireland, Japan, Portugal, the Philippines, Ecuador, Hong Kong, and the United States, Doreen completed an intensive 10-day immersion into the wines, regions, vineyards, history and culture of Spain.

The program began with advanced educator training in Madrid led by some of Spain’s most respected wine professionals, before continuing through vineyard visits, masterclasses, tastings, and private meetings with winemakers across Extremadura, Méntrida, Jerez, Ronda, and several of Spain’s most renowned wine regions and estates.

Upon successful completion, Doreen earned the title of Spanish Wine Certified Educator, allowing her to bring even deeper knowledge, stories, and educational experiences to Vitis House students and wine lovers across the United States.
