Participation in the course online activities is essential for this certification.

You pick the course date when you want to start! From anywhere you want! Enroll, contact us cheers@vitishouse.com to schedule your exam and then you’ll receive an email with everything you need to join the program. Then start! Vitis House instructors will be available to respond to your questions during the program.
Course Structure
Access and participation in the course online activities is essential. It is recommended to taste at least 5 wines during the program. For more information and full details on the course, please download the Specification sheet.
Entry Requirements
There are no requirements for this qualification. Price includes the WSET® Level 1 online access, class, Vitis House mock-up exam questions, support from Vitis House educators, exam, certificate and lapel pin (if you pass the examination).
Vitis House and WSET seeks to assess all candidates in a way that puts them at no disadvantage, or advantage, over other candidates. If you have a reasonable adjustment request, please send us an email at least 45 calendar days before the course cheers@vitishouse.com.
Certification
Assessment is by a closed-book exam of 30 multiple-choice questions. Exam has to be scheduled with Vitis House and will be taken at a pre-determined date and time. You can take the exam online using Remote Invigilation or you can take it at Vitis House (we offer this option once a month). The online exam will give you the flexibility to take the exam on a computer from your home, monitored via webcam, screen sharing technology and a secondary recording device (cell phone). To schedule your exam (14 business days in advance) please contact us at cheers@vitishouse.com immediately after booking your program. Exam must be completed in the same calendar year.
WSET has a computer-based testing via remote invigilation (also known as remote proctoring or online exam) to enable you to take your exam.
