Join us for our WSET® Level 2 course. This is a beginner- to intermediate-level qualification. Great for wine enthusiasts seeking to deepen their knowledge or wine professionals.
You’ll gain knowledge of the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce. Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and you’ll learn how to describe these wines with confidence.
We taste about 20 wines throughout the entire course (2 days). All students who pass successfully will receive a certificate and a lapel pin.
Price includes the WSET® Level 2 book kit, tuition, printed materials, and exam. All students who pass successfully will receive a certificate and a lapel pin.
Exam is at the end of the day. If by any chance, you can’t take the exam, we can reschedule your exam date with a 14 days notice.
Please note this course can be postponed (rescheduled) 30 days prior the date if minimum registrations are not achieved.

What you’ll learn:
You will explore the major grape varieties, wine regions, wine styles, classification and labeling terminology. Also, the key factors affecting the influence of wine, basic principles of food and wine pairing and how to describe wine using the WSET Level 2 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine® (SAT).
Course Structure:
Two full days of class, from 9:00am – 6:00pm. Test will be at the end of the class on day 2.

Entry Requirements:
There are no requirements for this qualification, but the student must be of legal drinking age in order to participate in the wine tasting.
Price includes the WSET® Level 2 study guide, all wines, tuition, printed materials, exam, certificate and lapel pin (if you pass the examination).
For all WSET® in-classroom qualifications, we use RIEDEL glasses (wine) and ISO glasses (spirits) during class.
Certification:
This level has a minimum requirement of 16 guided hours of study time in classroom. After class, each student will take a closed-book exam of 50 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 60 minutes. A total mark of 55% is required to achieve a pass. All students who pass will be issued with a certificate and will receive a lapel pin.

WSET Students Cancellations/Refunds:
All WSET courses sales are final once registration is completed and we have sent the materials. You can be transferred to another date 45 days in advance. No changes are accepted 45 days prior the course. Student can be transferred to another date 45 days in advance. Transfer fee for L1 is $150, for L2 $250 and for L3 is $375. Unfortunately, no transfers are allowed 45 days prior the first day of the course. Make sure you submit your transfer request by email cheers@vitishouse.com.
For WSET L1, L2 and L3 Online Students: no changes or cancellations are allowed after registration is completed.
