WSET® Level 2 Award in Sake Online takes learners deeper into the complexities of sake – from growing the rice and the kōji through steaming and fermentation. Through six carefully crafted modules totaling 30 hours, the course focuses on how key ingredients and production processes influence the style and quality of sake. You’ll learn how to properly store and serve this iconic beverage, and understand how to taste, describe, and evaluate quality using the Systemic Approach to Tasting Sake chart.

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 21+ years old
  • Valid ID for the day of the exam

Note: Level 1 is not required before taking Level 2, however candidates should have a sufficient working knowledge of sake styles. Please review the course specifications or contact us via email for more information.

Exam Format

Remote Invigilation Exam

  • Theory exam

    60 minutes

    Format:

    50 multiple-choice questions.

You must achieve a 55 % or higher to pass.
Please note that you have six months from the course start date to sit for the exam
