Course Structure
2 days of intensive professional training using WSET methodology
Day 1
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Dive into the WSET Level 2 Systematic Approach to Tasting, along with key principles of wine service, storage, and food and wine pairing. You’ll explore the factors that influence the production, style, quality, and price of red, white, rosé, and sweet wines, including essential labeling terminology. The day also covers major grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Zinfandel/Primitivo, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, Furmint, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris/Grigio, Gewürztraminer, and Albariño, with tastings designed to reinforce theory and build confidence.
Day 2
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Get ready to expand your global perspective with a deeper focus on important black grape varieties and regional wine styles. You’ll explore Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah/Shiraz, Gamay, Grenache/Garnacha, Tempranillo, Carménère, Malbec, Pinotage, and key Italian white and red wines, while comparing classic regions such as Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Rhône Valley, and Germany. You must score at least 55 % in each part to pass overall.
