Course Structure
1 day of intensive professional training using WSET methodology
Day 1
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
1 day of intensive training where we discuss the classic white and red grape varieties and tackle questions like how is wine made? What are the different types and styles of wine? How should wine be stored and served? What are ideal foods for all styles of wine?
Morning Session
What is wine? Growing grapes, winemaking, types and styles of wine. The Systematic Approach to Tasting. Principle white grape varieties and regions where they are found.
Afternoon Session
Principle red grape varieties and regions, storage and service of wine, pairing wine and food.
Exam
4:00 PM – 4:45 PM
Exam at the end of the course

Requirements
- Minimum age: 21+ years old
- Valid ID for the day of the exam
Note: No previous experience required.
Exam Format

Theory exam
45 minutes
Format:
30 multiple choice questions.
You must achieve a 70% or higher to pass.
